It is located in a village 25 KM far away from Kerman .It is one of the most beautiful gardens in Iran and a valuable historical place made in Qajar period during Mohammad shah's reign around 1870. It is famous for its architecture and it is considered as an architectural masterpiece of Qajar period. According to historians, this pattern was used for constructing Shazdeh Garden in Mahan. It’s a memorial of Fazlalikhan Biglerbigi that is why it was entitled Biglerbigi garden.
The Fathabad Qanat water passed through fathabad Garden in the past, and it was so refreshing and lovely. The magnificent mansion comprises of multiple arcades on its ground floor and surrounding walls, all while holding up the stunning second floor with its glorious terrace.
The Fath Abad Garden is rectangular with approximately 440 meters long and 260 meters width, stretched from northwest to southwest. The Garden is surrounded by pistachio gardens, whose lands belonged to Fazl Ali khan formerly. Some delicate and complex nuances have caused the structure of Fath Abad Garden to be unique.The garden is composed of two U shape gardens. The "four seasons building" constructed in east side of the main residential building with its unique and preferable architecture is considered part of the building of garden.
In front of the amazing façade of the garden, there is the greatest fountain of Iranian gardens, with 120 meters long which gives the sense of pleasure to this place. Also there is one L shape building in the north side of the main residential building that had been totally destructed. It has been renovated in 2014. Alireza Razmhosseini was elected as a Kerman’s new governor general in 2013. One year after his appointment, He started renovation of this very garden which is regarded as tourist attraction nowadays.
